Jean-François Lucarelli

I was Born 1951 in Liège (Belgium). I'm not musician, and Fantasia of Walt Disney was my first experience with classical music when I was 10.

During first years, Beethoven was my favorite, and now, my preferences are for music of 19th century. I think also this music is easier to render correctly in midi.

family Some lessons of harmony (as self-taught) and some little compositions, but too bad to publish on the net.

My best experience in music was the participation during a few years at the 'Choeur Symphonique de Liège', with performing of great works as the Requiem of Mozart, the Mass in C of Beethoven, and the symphony of psalms of Stravinsky.

I'm doctor in applied mathematics, and I'm in charge of a little laboratorium in a research centrum for polymers.

Married from 1977 with Myriam, we have two children, Michaël (21) and Christel (18)

I have a computer 200Mhz Pentium II and an AWE 64 Value sound card, with 8Mb memory. This card is universal, so I think my sequences can sound identical for most listeners.

My sequences are produced with Cakewalk, only with mouse and keyboard (and some little softwares and macros home made). Cakewalk seems to be a good compromise between a music software and a high level midi editor.
