Jorge Franganillo

Jorge FranganilloBorn in 1976 in Barcelona (Spain), Jorge Franganillo is an information manager with a wide background in web technology, usability and information retrieval. He lectures in library and information science at the University of Barcelona, where he is involved in a number of research projects. He has also written music for several theatre plays —three dramas (1994–1997) and two comedies (1998–2000)— by Catalan playwrights. Other compositions of his are Página (1994), Diario (1996), Abstracción (1999), Microludios (2004) and Sonata (2005). This latest work was premiered with considerable success shortly after it was finished, currently awaiting to be recorded. In addition, he has created professional arrangements for Hal Leonard.
