This sequence, the finale of Gliere's massive 3rd Symphony (subtitled, "Ilya Muromets", a sort of Russian Hercules) is the result of several years of off-and-on work and is intended for the Proteus 2 Orchestral sound module with help from the Korg O3R/W and the JV-1080 (with orchestral sound cards). The additional tracks for the same instrument are doubling intended to provide a fuller sound required for the massive forces used by Gliere (for example, 8 French horns).
