This is a sequence of Zoltan Kodaly's colorful finale, "The Entrance of the Emperor and His Court", from his suite from his opera "Hary Janos". I have used a Proteus 2, backed by a Korg P3 piano module and a Korg O3R/W orchestral module (for the Eb Clarinet, Tuba, Xylophone, and Tubular Bells; I've also doubled the Trumpets and Cornets in key sections). GM programs are indicated in the track name. As you can see by the number of instruments, you'll need at least 2 synths to play this sequence. Non-Proteus users should note that piccolo and bass notes are entered as in the score; that is, the Proteus 2 automatically transposes the former up an octave and the latter down an octave. So if you don't use a Proteus 2, you'll have to have your sequencer make the transpositions. Other instruments have been transposed to concert pitch. --Gary Goldberg, National Capital Amiga Users Group GaryG@ix.netcom.com
