This is a sequence of the finale, The Death of Taras Bulba, of Leos Janacek's rhapsody for orchestra, "Taras Bulba". It uses a Proteus 2 with some help (in tracks beginning with a "K") from a Korg O3R/W using some custom programs from Sound Source Unlimited. All transposing instruments have been transposed to C. I have doubled the Tubular Bells track so that the bells cut through the orchestral mix in the low register Janacek has them play in. There are program changes in the Basses track:[Bowed] Basses(5) (String Harmonics in bars 92-97). In addition, the Proteus' Bells and Tremolo String share a channel (12) and the Pizzicato Violins and Timpani share a channel (11).
