I was born at a very early age.....58 years ago.
I studied music (not as my major) at Denison University and have recently taken some adult education courses in Orchestration here in Montgomery County, MD.
I'm a retired Russian specialist for the federal government, working part time as a translator. I live in Silver Spring, MD, with my 2 cats, Rusty and Junior (photos available :-)
Equipment
I have an Amiga A4000 with a 68060 CPU. (with 48Mb of RAM so I can run Mac programs that require a lot of memory on my Mac emulators), as well as a 68030 A500.
I use an E-mu Proteus2 Orchestral Module, 2 Korg P3 piano modules (still, IMHO, better than any piano patch I've heard), a Korg O3R/W, and a Roland JV1080.
I have Orchestral Expansion ROM boards for the Korg O3R/W and JV 1080.
In addition, I have an Amiga sound card, the One Stop Music Shop,
basically a combination of Proteus 1 and 2 samples combined with the
board's own outputs and extra MIDI outs.
