"LULLAY, LULLOW" This is a 14th century traditional English carol. (If you really like the tune, please check out the heavenly voices of the Anonymous 4 on their album, "On Yoolis Night", for an incredible vocal arrangement.) This is a remix of a sequence I did in 1995 with my old soundcard. I did this 1997 edit using Cakewalk and Power Tracks Pro with an Ensoniq Soundscape Elite soundcard. NOTE: for those with a soundcard using the Yamaha OPL4 synth chip: the overall volume will sound very low. This is because Yamaha designed the "expression" controller #11 backwards, with 127 being loudest and 0 being quiet ... this is exactly opposite how it works for everybody else. The quickest fix here is to MUTE OR DELETE the "Mixer Track", which will wipe out any references to controller #11. Else, you can edit the values in this track to achieve the desired balance of instrument volumes. This sequence uses the default pitch bend range, so it should be playable even on the old SoundBlaster16 cards and clones ... though of course it's so much nicer on a wavetable card with effects!
